Blue Ivy Carter is a daddy's girl! The 6-year-old daughter of JAY-Z and Beyoncé has mesmerised the world with her sassy antics and her incredible sense of fashion, but now, it's a story from her father himself that really proves this tot is a legend. In a new clip from JAY-Z's upcoming episode on David Letterman's My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman, the rapper shares an unbelievably sweet story about his relationship with Blue, shared exclusively with NBC News' Today.

"I told her to get in the car the other day 'cause she was asking a thousand questions and we had to leave for school," JAY-Z shared with the host. "So, we're driving and I just hear a little voice, 'Dad, I didn't like when you told me to get in the car, the way you told me. It hurt my feelings.'"

He recalls that he turned around and said, "that's the most beautiful thing you've ever said to me." So sweet! The Carters are doing an incredible job at teaching her to use her voice and stand up for herself — even if it's to dad.
