Jennifer Garner Shares Her Sunny Disposition With Washington on Behalf of Childhood Education

Jennifer Garner joined Save the Children's Mark Kennedy Shriver in Washington DC today to discuss early childhood education. Jen's a frequent visitor to the capital, as is her husband. Ben Affleck visited Congress a few months ago to discuss the ongoing plight of women and children in the Congo, though Jen's philanthropic afternoon was all about the youth of America. Jen does her best to champion literacy for kids while doing her best at home to make sure daughters Violet and Seraphina get a leg up on learning. Violet joined Jen on a recent trip to their local library, and the precocious 5-year-old seemed particularly interested in a copy of Flat Stanley.
