We've been fans of Joey King [1] for a while now, but our obsession reached its peak when she starred in the 2018 Netflix original film The Kissing Booth [2]. Ever since then, we've been gushing over her cute relationship [3], and stealing pages from her style book. We didn't think we could be any more impressed by the young star, but then Hulu released its trailer [4] for the upcoming adaptation of The Act. In it, King stars as Gypsy Blanchard [5], the real-life young woman who ended up in the middle of a twisted murder case [6]. Both Patricia Arquette (who plays her mother Dee Dee Blanchard) and King gave us chills in the series premiere on March 20, and we have no doubt the remaining episodes will leave us speechless.
