Sept. 4 marked Beyoncé's 38th birthday, and YouTuber Kalen Allen led the Beyhive tributes with a seven-minute video homage to the singer. In the clip, he recreates some of Bey's iconic music videos for hits such as "Deja Vu," "Single Ladies," "Formation," and the Homecoming Live version of "Diva." Kalen even swaps outfits akin to some of Beyoncé's most stunning video ensembles as he breaks it down, embodying the confidence and verve of the birthday girl. "To my muse and inspiration! Happy birthday Beyoncé!" he captioned the video.
Beyoncé — who does pay attention to fan-made videos — likely caught wind of Kalen's incredible tribute, considering her Facebook page shared it. And, naturally, Kalen lost his mind. "CALL THE POLICE," he wrote under a screenshot of the repost. Bey celebrated her special day at JAY-Z's Made in America music festival on Saturday, and on Wednesday, she was praised in a heartwarming post from her mom, Tina Knowles Lawson. The Beyhive will probably be honouring their fearless leader for the rest of the week, maybe even the rest of the month . . . OK, the year.
