Kate Hudson welcomed her third child, a baby girl, on Tuesday. The actress shared the exciting news on Instagram the next day with a photo gallery of the birthdate and the caption, "She's here." Kate also revealed her daughter's name, Rani Rose Fujikawa, and explained the special meaning behind it. "We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa," Kate wrote. "Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor."

Baby Rani is Kate's first daughter and her first child with musician Danny Fujikawa, whom she has been dating since 2017; she has two sons, 14-year-old Ryder Robinson and 7-year-old Bingham Bellamy, from her previous relationships with The Black Crowes's Chris Robinson and Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy. Kate announced her pregnancy news back in April with an exciting reveal of the baby's sex. Just last week, she was showered by friends with a pink-themed party.

Congrats to Kate and Danny on their bundle of joy!
