Katy Perry just won't let her feud with Taylor Swift die. During American Idol on Sunday night, the singer seemed to throw subtle shade at her former friend when a contestant revealed that he looks up to Taylor. "I'm sorry for this, Katy," he said before revealing he's a Swiftie. After gushing about how much he loves the "Delicate" singer, Katy quipped that she loves Taylor as well . . . as a songwriter.

Even though Katy's comment isn't exactly a dig at Taylor, the two certainly have a history of bad blood. While the Grammy-winning singer subtly referenced their feud in her "Look What You Made Me Do" music video, Katy had no qualms addressing the whole thing during Carpool Karaoke with James Corden on The Late Late Show in 2017. Katy even officially "forgave" Taylor last year, but it seems she wasn't ready to bury the hatchet, after all. Catch the awkward American Idol clip above.
