After near radio silence, Kim Kardashian [1] is the first member of her family to publicly comment on the cheating allegations against Tristan Thompson [2], which surfaced days before Khloé Kardashian gave birth to their daughter [3]. Kim recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres [4] Show and commented on the heartbreaking situation in an episode that aired April 30.
"I don't even know how to describe it besides it's just so f*cked up," Kim said. "We really were rooting for Khloé, and we still are! She's so strong and she's doing the best that she can. It's a really sad situation all over."
When asked if the couple is still together, Kim said, "You know, I think she's not thinking of anything. I think she just wants a clear head and just wants to be alone with her baby and figure that out." She added that Khloé is currently still in Cleveland and family members have been frequently visiting her. "She wanted to have some alone time with the baby and figure out what her next steps are. It must be so hard to have you heart broken and fall in love in a day or two," Kim said.
Despite her disappointment, Kim said learned from the drama that ensued following Rob Kardashian's split with Blac Chyna [6], given that they too share a daughter together. "I kind of made this rule with my brother: if there's a baby involved, I'm going to keep it cute and keep it classy and not talk too bad," Kim said. "I'm going to try not to say anything too negative because one day True is going to see this. It's just so messed up."
