First dates are a total toss-up. For Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn [2], the latter rang true, as the two lovebirds have been adorably inseparable ever since they began dating in 1983 [3]. So what exactly did they do on that fateful first date back in the '80s to kick off their 35-year relationship [4]? Kurt spilled the beans on just that when he stopped by Live With Kelly and Ryan, and it's a pretty cute story.

Kurt began by explaining that he and Goldie had been working on a World War II movie called Swing Shift at the time, and he was "pretty careful" about mixing work with his romantic life. But alas, the two had a possible dancing scene to prepare for together, so they did an after-hours practice session at none other than The Playboy Club, where they spent two hours just talking, the 67-year-old actor [5] recalled. What happened next may have been slightly awkward in the moment, but Kurt backed it up by adding, "we've been together ever since!"
