We've seen celebrities eat bugs in the jungle, master circus skills, and learn to ballroom dance, and now we're going to see eight famous faces battle for the chance to conduct the BBC Concert Orchestra on Maestro, starting tonight. The contestants are actors Jane Asher and David Soul, drum and bass star Goldie, Blur bassist Alex James, broadcasters Katie Derham and Peter Snow, and comedians Sue Perkins and Bradley Walsh. Clive Anderson has taken on hosting duties, and the winner will conduct at BBC Proms in the Park. It's an interesting premise, but I'm not sure it will be a huge ratings puller. What do you think of Maestro: love it or leave it?
