Mark Hamill brought back the enthusiasm of a young Luke Skywalker on Thursday, hereby known as "Jedi Day" [1], when he was honoured with his well-earned star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame [2].
Both Star Wars creator George Lucas and costar Harrison Ford [3] were on hand to sing Mark's praises at the event, with Harrison quipping [4]: "wow, there was a lot more people that showed up for my star". Harrison continued his speech noting the absence of "the other member of our trio" Carrie Fischer, adding "but I feel her presence." Luckily, Carrie's daughter Billie Lourd was there represent Leia's legacy, along with Star Wars newbie Kelly Marie Tran, R2-D2, and a smattering of stormtroopers.
