Say hello to Professor Matthew McConaughey! The Academy Award-winning actor is officially a faculty member at the University of Texas at Austin, so students starting their Fall semesters should prepare to see a lot more of the Magic Mike star around campus. "In recognition of his professional pedigree and personal investment in student success, Matthew McConaughey has been appointed a #TEXASMoody professor of practice," the university's college of communication announced in a Twitter post on Wednesday. So, uh, how can we enroll?!

Matthew's Script to Screen film-production class is exclusive to upper-division film majors and uses a specific movie per course to navigate the intricacies of the film producing and directing process, from start to finish. "By studying script drafts, shot lists, storyboards, early edits and even exclusive behind the scenes footage, students will garner insight into the making of a major Hollywood feature," the class description reads.

Having graduated with a bachelor's degree from the university in 1993, the Texas native helped design the course's curriculum and originally cotaught the class as a visiting instructor alongside professor Scott Rice. Matthew has frequently appeared at the university's basketball and football games, and his on-campus involvement even extends to an instructive safety video for students. See the hilarious video ahead, and prepare to see even more of Professor McConaughey once the school year officially begins.
