Meghan Markle Is Just Getting Started — See All the Ways She's Making Change in 2019

28/01/2019 - 02:55 AM

To say that Meghan Markle [1] has had a whirlwind couple of years is a pretty big understatement. She's hit a handful of major milestones [2] since getting engaged to Prince Harry and experienced some pretty huge life events [3] in 2018 alone — all while inspiring her fans, charming humans and animals [4], and breaking a few rules along the way [5]. Wedding? Check. Precious royal baby? Done [6]. Changing the face of the British royal family forever? Girl, it's been handled.

Meghan has already kicked off 2019 by announcing her royal patronages [7], hiring a new deputy communications secretary [8], and making official appearances both solo [9] and with Harry [10]. The couple also made their widely publicized move to Frogmore Cottage [11] in Windsor shortly before welcoming their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, in May. She's even guest-edited a special September issue of British Vogue [12] titled — you guessed it — "Forces For Change." Last year may have been Meghan's introduction to the royal family [13] (as well as the world), but 2019 is when we'll see the Duchess of Sussex rolling up her sleeves and getting down to business.
