A source said of the duchess, "I think she finds it a little frustrating at times, but this is her new life, and she has to deal with it." "She's not going to want to be a quiet princess [9] and simply open hospitals or cut ribbons," a royal insider told People earlier this year.
For what it's worth, Meghan seems to be adjusting well to royal life as far as her new family members are concerned. She has a natural chemistry with Prince William and Kate Middleton [11], and also looks right at home when chatting with Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and even Queen Elizabeth II [12].
