Meghan Markle [1] and Prince Harry made a surprise appearance in Northern Ireland [2] on Friday. The weather was unfortunately a bit rainy, but that didn't stop the royal-to-be from making the most out of her time in Belfast (and looking totally fashionable through it all [3]).
As Meghan walked in front of a crowd on the streets, the former Suits actress [4] spotted a young girl in a bright red coat behind the barricades and simply couldn't resist saying hello. Meghan quickly dashed through the rain, umbrella in hand, effortlessly maintaining her balance in a pair of velvet heels (you go, girl!) to greet the lucky youngster. The two held hands and talked for a few moments before Meghan went on to greet others in the crowd. Ugh, the things we would do to have been a fly on the wall (er, her umbrella?) to hear that conversation!
Of course, this isn't the first time Meghan has interacted with kids [5] during royal outings. During a recent visit to Birmingham, she shared an inspiring conversation [6] with a 10-year-old and also met with a young girl [7] at the Commonwealth Day service in London a week later. Meghan sure is shaping up to be quite the kid magnet, just like Harry [8]!
