Meghan Markle [1] and Prince Harry officially joined Instagram as @SussexRoyal [2] on Tuesday, and it wasn't long before the follows (including mine) started rolling in. On Wednesday, the Guinness Book of World Records announced that Harry and Meghan had broken Instagram's record for fastest time to gain one million followers [3]; they hit the milestone in just 5 hours and 45 minutes [4], nearly two hours less than the previous record, which was held by K-Pop star Kang Daniel. The flood of visits to the feed even caused a momentary crash on Instagram. As I write this, SussexRoyal has over 2.7 million followers, despite there only being one post of the couple's royal logo.

Along with breaking social media records, Harry and Meghan are also gearing up for the arrival of their first child [5], who is said to be due in the next few weeks. The expectant couple was spotted leaving the Ilapothecary wellness store [6] in London last week after reportedly spending over two hours inside, and are also set to move into their new Frogmore Cottage home any day now.

So, how long do you think it'll be before we see Baby Sussex on the feed?
