Meghan Markle Gives Her First Royal Speech, and Prince Harry's Reaction Will Make You Smile
Meghan Markle is transitioning into her role as a royal quite nicely, and it seems like her husband Prince Harry couldn't be prouder. While celebrating the launch of Together: Our Community Cookbook, a charity book which contains recipes from members of the community in West London that came together following the devastating Grenfell Tower fire, the 37-year-old gave her first speech as a royal as she addressed the guests at Kensington Palace on Thursday.
"Working on this project for the past nine months has been a tremendous labour of love," Meghan told the group. "I just recently moved to London, and I felt so immediately embraced by this kitchen — your warmth and kindness and also to be able to be in this city and to see in this one small room, how multicultural it was." As Meghan thanked the women of the Hubb Community Kitchen, her husband Prince Harry and mother Doria Ragland were spotted looking incredibly proud as they stood off to the side. Aww!
