Hi, hello, welcome. This is just your weekly reminder that Michael B. Jordan [3], aka the internet's boyfriend [4], is one of the most amazing humans on Earth and that he needs to be protected at all costs. On Monday afternoon, the Black Panther [5] star surprised a group of schoolkids in the parking lot of their Montgomery, AL, private school — and their reactions to seeing him are sure to make your heart melt.
According to Michael's latest Instagram post [6], he was in Alabama shooting his newest film, Just Mercy, when he spotted the group of boys exercising outside.
"I was driving from set & saw these young kings standing in their school parking lot doing jumping jacks in 90 degree Montgomery Alabama heat!" he captioned the video. "The sight of them inspires me & reminds me why I do what I do!!"
On account of him being one of the biggest stars in the world right now, the boys instantly recognised Michael within seconds of him approaching them, and y'all . . . this video is so damn pure! In the short video, one of the boys can be heard shouting, "Are you Michael B. Jordan?!" while others are stuck screaming with excitement — and can you really blame them? In between the "oohs," "ahhs," and "Oh, my gods," Michael can also be heard offering the kids some words of encouragement for their hard work and telling them to "stay in school," right before taking a photo with the group.
