Michelle Obama Shares a Photo From Her Wedding Day With Barack, and Yes, We're Crying
Are you still reminiscing about the days when Barack and Michelle Obama lived in the White House? Likewise. It's probably why my face lit up like a Christmas tree when I saw this throwback photo the former first lady shared on Instagram from her wedding day. "You can't tell it from this photo, but Barack woke up on our wedding day in October, 1992 with a nasty head cold," Mrs. Obama revealed. "Somehow, by the time I met him at the altar, it had miraculously disappeared and we ended up dancing almost all night."
The proud wife and mum of two, who has kept us smiling with her dance moves and inspirational quotes, has been uploading old family photos ahead of the release of her first memoir, Becoming, out Nov. 13. Michelle also shared that after 25 years of marriage, she's still having tons of fun with Barack "while also doing the hard work to build our partnership and support each other as individuals."
She concluded her heartfelt post writing, "I can't imagine going on this wild ride with anybody else." Now excuse me while I cry into my pillowcase at the cuteness of it all.
