It's hard not to swoon over Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban whenever the two are spotted together. The two have undeniable chemistry and one of the longest lasting relationships in Hollywood (12 years to be exact). Although they first got together back in 2005, Nicole can still recall the moment she knew she wanted to marry Keith. In an new interview with People magazine, the Destroyer actress shared the sweet gesture he made on her 38th birthday — just a few months after meeting her.
"It was my birthday, and he stood outside with gardenias at 5 a.m. on my stoop in New York," Nicole told People. "That is when I went, 'This is the man I hope I get to marry.'" She also remembered one of their most special dates, on which they rode a motorbike to Woodstock, NY, for a getaway, adding, "My kind of guy!"
It all seemed to happen rather quickly, but Nicole knew what she felt. "It was pretty intense," she continued. "I believed by that point he was the love of my life. Maybe that's because I am deeply romantic, or I'm an actress, or I have strong faith as well, but I just believed, 'Oh, okay, here he is.'"
But Nicole wasn't the only one who fell quickly. Keith has also said that it was love at first sight when he met the Big Little Lies star. A year after they started dating, the couple tied the knot in Manly, Australia, and now live in Nashville with their two daughters, Sunday, 10, and Faith, 8.
