Hold on to your hats, Directioners, because Harry Styles may have just kinda, maybe, sorta confirmed a huge rumour about One Direction's "Perfect." Ever since the single dropped, fans have been speculating whether or not the tune was inspired by Harry's infamous ex Taylor Swift. Not only does the melody of 1D's song sound eerily similar to Taylor's "Style," but the lyric "If you're looking for someone to write your breakup songs about, baby I'm perfect" seems like a pretty cut-and-dry call-out to the 1989 singer.
Luckily, when One Direction sat down for an interview with James Corden during an Apple Music event for the band in London last weekend, James got right to the point, saying, "Now listen, I don't want to have any bad blood about this. If you don't want to talk about this, we can shake it off. Who's the song about?" Harry didn't say a word, but his adorable, knowing grin gave us all the information we needed. Watch his reaction below, and make sure you check out the band's incredible Rihanna cover while you're at it!
