Back in June, Paul McCartney took James Corden on a tour of his hometown, Liverpool, in a now-iconic episode of Carpool Karaoke [1]. This week, James decided it was time to return the favour, and he invited the Beatle to visit the place where he became, "a huge success". Unfortunately, a tour of The Late Late Show offices is hardly in the same league as a tour that takes in Paul's childhood home, and a trip Penny Lane, and Sir Paul quickly tires of James's attempts to entertain him, asking, "is this what you had me fly all the way out to LA for?"

Of course, there's more than just this skit. Sir Paul is joining James to celebrate a special 1-hour documentary, When Corden Met McCartney, which will air in the US on Aug. 20. The show will feature tons of footage from their Liverpool tour that didn't make it onto the Carpool Karaoke segment, and by the looks of this video, it's definitely going to be worth looking out for.
