Jordan/Katie Price launched her bed linen range at Matalan in Milton Keynes yesterday. Yes, you read right — a bed linen range. Now I'm all in favour of taking advantage of your opportunities, and I'm a big fan of Kate's, but even I can't help thinking this is a bit much. The autobiographies (plural), novels, music album, perfume, underwear, cosmetics, children's books and even her new clothing line for horse riders are all part and parcel of the kind of celebrity branding to which we've grown accustomed, but bedding? I'd love to know what you think, so tell me: with her new bed linen range, is Kate taking merchandising a step too far?
