Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's exciting trip to Scotland [3] kicked off in the country's capital, Edinburgh, on Tuesday. Droves of excited well-wishers arrived at Edinburgh castle in hopes of seeing a glimpse of the happy couple [4], who are set to tie the knot this May [5] (with Ed Sheeran potentially performing at their reception [6]!). In addition to the greeting the people of Edinburgh, Meghan and Harry were also introduced to Cruachan, an adorable Shetland pony who is the mascot of The Royal Regiment of Scotland.

Cruachan, clearly the sassiest pony in all of the UK, decided not only to break royal protocol [7] and get a few pets in with Harry (kidding, obviously), but also to attempt to take a bite out of him. In a video shared by Kensington Palace on Twitter [8], you can see Cruachan take a tiny, adorable nip when Harry gets too close. Meghan couldn't help but giggle while watching it go down from a safe distance. (Can you blame her? With that incredible crossbody bag [9], we wouldn't want to risk Cruachan making off with it, either). Watch the cute moment above!
