It seems as though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aren't expecting their new bundle of joy too soon. On Sunday, the Duke of Sussex made a solo appearance at the annual London Marathon shortly before Meghan's due date. At the event, Harry rocked a grey blazer over a white shirt with jeans as he spoke with volunteers, cheered on athletes, and presented medals to the winners. According to Harry and Meghan's joint Instagram account, Harry has served as Patron of the London Marathon Trust since 2012 because he "believes that mental fitness is absolutely crucial to our wellbeing."
Harry has recently made a few appearances while Meghan rests at their new Frogmore Cottage abode in preparation for the baby. On Easter, he joined Prince William and Kate Middleton — who also visited him and Meghan at their home that same day — for a church service and celebration of Queen Elizabeth II's 93rd birthday. Just a few days later, he and Kate attended the Anzac Day Service to honour the Australian and New Zealand forces.
We know that Harry is really looking forward to being a dad, so he's probably just as excited as the rest of us. But unless he plans on sprinting from the marathon to the hospital, we don't think he anticipates Meghan going into labour for the time being!
