Prince William is following in his mom Princess Diana's footsteps in many ways, but the most prominent ways he is honouring his late mother is through charity work. It was no secret that Diana was dedicated to her work helping others through charities and organisations that were close to her heart, especially those she was patron for.

Like his mother, Prince William is patron of many charities and most recently took on the role of royal patron for The Passage, a charity dedicated to helping the homeless transform their lives. During William's visit to the charity on Feb. 13, Kensington Palace shared a photo of William and Harry with Diana during a visit to the charity in 1993, as well as a visitors' book signed by William and Diana.

William first visited the charity with his mother 26 years ago and said in a Kensington Palace statement, "The visits I made as a child to this place left a deep and lasting impression upon me — about how important it is to ensure that everyone in our society, especially the poorest, are treated with respect, dignity, and kindness, and are given the opportunities to fulfil their potential in life." Ahead, get a look at William's recent visit with the charity where he helped prepare spaghetti bolognese with volunteers for the lunch service.
