Prince William is about to embark on another royal tour! On Thursday, Kensington Palace confirmed that the father of three [1] will be visiting Jordan, Israel, and the Occupied Palestinian Territories next month [2]. His five-day trip will kick off on June 24 and include visits to Amman, Tel Aviv, Ramallah, and Jerusalem. The palace added that the visit was "at the request of Her Majesty's government and has been welcomed by the Israeli, Jordanian and Palestinian authorities."

While he won't be bringing along the Duchess of Cambridge this time around, the trip is a historic moment as it marks the first time a member of the royal family has travelled to Israel on official business. Prince Philip previously visited in 1994 for a Yad Vashem ceremony honouring his mother, Princess Alice of Battenberg, while Prince Charles attended the funeral of former President Shimon Peres in 2016.

The 35-year-old royal has certainly been keeping busy in recent months. In addition to welcoming his third child [3], Prince Louis, in April, he recently served as the best man [4] for his brother Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle [5].
