Princess Beatrice Takes a Trip Across the Pond to Attend Her Very First Met Gala
Princess Beatrice took a break from her official royal duties to attend the Met Gala in NYC on Monday. While the 29-year-old opted to wear a stylish headband instead of a tiara for the special occasion, she did seem to give a subtle nod to her family's roots with her flowing purple dress; the colour purple is often associated with royalty. How fitting! Of course, this certainly isn't the first time a British royal has attended the star-studded event. The late Princess Diana famously attended the event back in December 1996.
Beatrice certainly has a busy few months ahead of her. While her sister Princess Eugenie is set to tie the knot in October, Beatrice will first attend her cousin Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle later this month. Until then, enjoy her fabulous outing below.
