Princess Charlotte graced the world with her presence on May 2, 2015, and the little royal is growing up fast. Ahead of her fourth birthday this week, Kensington Palace released four precious new photos of Charlotte taken by her mum — the Duchess of Cambridge is known for photographing all three of her kids for special milestones, and most recently blessed us with a few insanely cute snaps of her youngest, Prince Louis [1], who turned one in April. Now, it's big sister's turn to shine [2]!
In the portraits, our dear Lottie [4] is showing off the latest in royal toddler fashion [5], sporting her signature floral dress and trainers as well as a tartan skirt and cardigan combo. While her style is obviously on-point, I'm mostly struck by Charlotte's sly smile and the twinkle in her eye — there's something very reminiscent of Princess Diana [6] in her expression, though I still maintain that she is the spitting image of her great-grandmother, the Queen.
