Princess Eugenie's "Day in the Life" Makes Her Seem Surprisingly Normal
Imagine Princess Eugenie settling down on the sofa with her boyfriend and her dog, Diet Coke in hand, to watch The Walking Dead. Apparently, it's all part of a normal day for the young royal, who shares a day in her life with Harper's Bazaar for the magazine's September issue. Art-loving Eugenie discusses her passions, her guilty pleasures, and the biggest misconceptions about being a royal in the accompanying story. On what people are surprised to learn about her, she says "That I have a full-time job." As associate director at the contemporary-art gallery Hauser & Wirth, Eugenie's greatest passion is her work. "I've loved art since I was very little. I knew I definitely wouldn't be a painter, but I knew this was the industry for me. I love being able to share my passion for art with people. If someone doesn't understand something, you have the ability to suggest, 'Maybe you can look at it this way.' That's what I found most thrilling about working in an art gallery."
In the accompanying pictures, shot by photographer Alex Bramall, Eugenie is in full princess mode as she poses at the family home, Royal Lodge, in Windsor Great Park, dressed in a succession of glamorous dresses. Take a peek at the photos now, then find out more when the issue hits newsstands on 16 August.
