She may be the head of state for 53 countries , but Queen Elizabeth is just "Granny" to her grandkids. The monarch first became a grandmother back in 1977, when Princess Anne gave birth to Peter Phillips, and since then her brood has grown to include eight grandchildren (plus seven great-grandchildren ).
