Reese Witherspoon's Sweet Tribute to Her Son Deacon Shows How Proud of a Mom She Is

Reese Witherspoon got sweet and sentimental on Instagram in celebration of her son Deacon's 15th birthday. On Tuesday, she posted an adorable photo of them standing together outside a door, surrounded by pumpkins, alongside a cute little four-legged friend. Reese embraces Deacon, who looks significantly taller than her, with a big smile and playfully points at the birthday boy.

"Happy Birthday to my wonderful, creative, kind, talented boy @deaconphillippe! Everyday you teach me something new about beats, Fort Nite dances, fantasy football and cool sneakers. What a gift to be your mom," she wrote in the caption. She also addressed the major height difference, adding, "(P.S. When did you get so tall!?) #Thisis15." Deacon, who is the spitting image of Reese and his father, Ryan Phillipe, looked just as happy to be posing with his mom for the big 15.

The Big Little Lies star split with Ryan Phillipe back in 2006 but remarried in 2011 when she tied the knot with Jim Toth. Reese and Jim have a son together named Tennessee. Reese and Ryan have maintained a good relationship and continue to coparent Deacon and their daughter, Ava.
