Princess Eugenie's wedding is only a couple of months away [1], and we've been treated to lots of fun details about the big day. While there's been lots of talk about which celebrities [2] Eugenie and her fiancé, Jack Brooksbank [3], plan to invite, there are fewer details concerning the members of her own family [4] who might be scheduled to attend. We've rounded up a "royal roll call" of sorts, where we'll be updating the RSVP status of each of Eugenie's high-profile relatives. Princess Beatrice
Is she going?: Not only is she going, but she's also got a job to do! Naturally, Eugenie asked her big sister to serve as her maid of honour [6] on the big day.
Prince Andrew
Is he going?: Yes! Eugenie's father, Prince Andrew of York, will be on hand to walk her down the aisle at St. George's Chapel.
Sarah Ferguson
Is she going?: The former Duchess of York will be front and centre for Eugenie's big day, and according to reports, she's been "very involved" in the planning process [7]. Eugenie is even rumoured to be following in her mother's footsteps by wearing the York tiara [8] on her wedding day, which Sarah Ferguson first wore when she married Prince Andrew [9] in 1986.
Prince Philip
Is he going?: Erm, probably not, to be honest. Eugenie's 97-year-old grandfather may decide to sit out her wedding day [10] due to some long-standing drama with her mum, Sarah Ferguson. Philip is "so estranged from Fergie [11]," according to reports, that he will likely "decide at the 99th hour" whether or not to attend Eugenie's ceremony. Their ongoing rift — which you can read aaalll about here [12] — even led Philip to vow never to be in the same room as Sarah again [13]. Yikes.
Queen Elizabeth II
Is she going?: Unlike Prince Philip, the queen has a more favourable relationship with Sarah Ferguson [14] and is planning to be there to see her granddaughter walk down the aisle. We can bet she'll be wearing a fly AF outfit for the big day!
Prince William
Is he going?: There's been no confirmation of William's attendance, but it's a pretty safe bet that he will be at his cousin's wedding [15], especially as his kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, are rumoured to have big roles in the ceremony.
Kate Middleton
Is she going?: Maybe, but it's unlikely. While I had not-so-secretly hoped that Kate would show up wearing the giant fascinator [16] that Eugenie wore to her royal wedding in 2011, it doesn't look like it's gonna happen. According to reports, Kate may have to miss her cousin-in-law's big day [17] for an equally big reason: her younger sister, Pippa, is due to give birth to her first child around the same time. We'll just have to wait and see!
Prince George
Is he going?: Along with his younger sister, 5-year-old George is reported to be a member of Eugenie's wedding party [18] and will serve as a pageboy. Thankfully he's already got some great experience [19]!
Princess Charlotte
Is she going?: What would a royal event be without the family's reigning savage, Princess Charlotte [20]? The 3-year-old's résumé already includes gigs at both her Aunt Pippa Middleton's and Uncle Harry's weddings, and it's reported that Charlotte will be promoted to lead flower girl [21] at Eugenie's ceremony. Here's hoping that she pulls out some more tricks for the camera [22]!
Prince Louis
Is he going?: As little Louis will only be 5 months old by the time Eugenie gets married, we can't imagine that Will or Kate would bring him along. But if they do, there's a good bet that he'll sleep through the whole thing anyway [23].
Prince Harry
Is he going?: Very likely! While no details have been announced, we can't imagine why Harry wouldn't show up to see his cousin get married. It will be a nice bit of déja vu, too, as Eugenie and Jack are tying the knot at St. George's Chapel in Windsor, where he and Meghan Markle were married [24] in May.
Meghan Markle
Is she going?: Certainly the Duchess of Sussex wouldn't let a snack like Prince Harry [25] attend a wedding by himself, right? Kidding, kidding. It's very likely that Meghan will accompany Harry to Eugenie's nuptials — and we cannot wait to see what she wears [26]!
