On a typical sunny but drizzly Saturday in London, the British royal family gathered at Buckingham Palace for the annual Trooping the Colour [1] event, a celebration of the queen's official birthday which begins with a military parade.

Trooping the Colour also includes a flypast by the Royal Air Force, which the royal family watches from the balcony of the palace. Last year was filled with plenty of sweet moments [2], particularly from the little cousins [3] like Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Savannah and Isla Phillips.

As well as watching the fly-by, the family rode past the crowds, either on horseback, or in carriages.
