One of our favourite parts of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding (besides, of course, their first kiss as a married couple) was the Most Reverend Michael Curry's powerful sermon. Curry, the presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church, delivered a nearly 14-minute speech that perfectly summed up what love really is, and his words of wisdom are truly sticking with us.
He began by quoting Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., reciting, "We must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love. And when we do that, we will make of this old world a new world. Love is the only way." Though most of his impassioned speech was prepared ahead and time, he did improvise a few parts, like when he promised to wrap up soon so "we can get you two married," which gave the audience a sweet chuckle.
