If your friends don't make fun of you, are they even your friends? Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Jake Gyllenhaal don't seem to think so. The funny Hollywood trio recently united at a Christmas get-together, but apparently one of them got the wrong memo about proper attire. And, of course, that someone was Ryan.
On Thursday, the Deadpool actor posted a couple of hilarious Instagram photos with Hugh and Jake, looking pretty irritated. Why, you ask? Because he showed up to a festive party completely decked out in a cheesy Christmas sweater with a giant bow on the front, while Hugh and Jake were significantly less decorative with their outfits. "These f*cking assholes said it was a sweater party," Ryan captioned the post. Hugh and Jake are shown cracking up at their friend's pain, but who wouldn't be hysterically laughing in that moment?
Ryan and Hugh are basically the masters of trolling each other on social media. In November, Ryan ran a fake smear ad about Hugh's The Front Runner film and roasted Hugh for getting too cosy with John Krasinski's wife, Emily Blunt. Jake doesn't have a Twitter account, but he did finally join the Instagram world earlier this month. He'll probably learn the art of online jesting rather quickly with the help of Ryan and Hugh.
