While accepting the Golden Globe for best supporting actor [5] for his work on Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Sam Rockwell not only joked about needing Imodium to control his excitement, but also got sentimental when talking about the compassion in this movie — and he did it all with girlfriend Leslie Bibb's lipstick all over his mouth. Leslie, who said during a preshow interview that she was so excited for Sam to be getting the recognition she thought he deserved, couldn't help but plant one on him when his name was announced as the winner of his very first Golden Globe.

After gushing over "being in a movie that people see," Sam closed his speech by thanking Leslie for making him laugh when he takes himself too seriously and urging everyone listening to show the compassion the world needs these days. Cheers to Sam on his first Golden Globe win!
