Sarah Michelle Gellar [3] just publicly wished her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. [4] a happy birthday with an Instagram post that's, er, very honest — definitely honest! In honour of the actor's 43rd birthday on March 8, Sarah shared two impossibly sweet selfies, writing, "They say you don't really love someone, unless you have fantasised about killing them." Uh? She then added, "I REALLY love you."
Sarah and Freddie began dating three years after working together [5] in 1997's I Know What You Did Last Summer. Two children and 16 years of marriage later, Sarah and Freddie are often celebrated for their long-lasting relationship [6], particularly by Hollywood standards. In a 2017 interview with POPSUGAR, Sarah credited her marriage's fairly private nature [7] as being key to its success. "I love that we keep our relationship private," she said. "I think that's probably why we manage to survive."
