The Social Network, David Fincher's dramatisation of the rise of Facebook, has spawned a couple of teaser trailers, but now we finally get to see footage — and it looks pretty great. I'm most encouraged by the acting on the part of Jesse Eisenberg as founder Mark Zuckerberg, as well as Brit Andrew Garfield (aka the new Spider-Man) as cofounder Eduardo Saverin.
This preview gives more insight into Zuckerberg's portrayal as a villain — the book that the movie is based on implies that his whole concept of Facebook was simply a tool to get him more friends and respect, and not just the virtual kind. It also includes Justin Timberlake and Rashida Jones as supporting players.
