Tom Hardy does a lot more than just star in the upcoming BBC drama Taboo. Not only did he create the story alongside his father, Chips Hardy, but he's also executive producer on the project. Tom's teaming up with some very big names to take his story to the small screen in suitably epic fashion: Hollywood producer Ridley Scott and Steven Knight, the man behind two of Tom's other projects, Locke and Peaky Blinders. Taboo looks just as stylish and intense as you'd expect from such a team, telling the story of a vengeful adventurer in the early 1800s who finds himself at odds with the powerful East India Company and in posession of some stolen diamonds. The trailer gives you a glimpse of what to expect, but don't get too excited. Right now the miniseries isn't tipped to hit TV screens until 2017! You'll be happy to know you do at least get a bit of tattooed, shirtless action in the trailer to keep you going until then, plus we have some seriously smouldering black-and-white photos of Tom too.
