The duo actually know each other from high school, back when Oscar-nominated Timothée was better known by his rapper alter ego: Lil Timmy Tim [2]. Don't ask them who was more popular [3] back in their high school days though, Ansel insists Timothée was "so popular," while Timothée said Ansel had his own calendar! The long-time friends even shared the same drama teacher [4], Mr. Harry Shifman, who sent Timothée a moving message [5] before the show started.

The two were all smiles during the night; you could catch Timothée third wheeling on celeb couples [6] and Ansel delivering hot dogs to the theatre next door [7]. Is it too much to ask that they do a movie together next?
