The Beyhive might be celebrating Beyoncé's 38th birthday [3], but no one's excitement holds a candle to the Queen Bey's own mother, Tina Lawson. On Sept. 4, Tina posted a heartwarming tribute to Bey with an adorable snapshot of the two cuddling. The 65-year-old mother of Beyoncé and Solange Knowles [4] recalled learning she was pregnant with the "Spirit" singer [5] nearly four decades ago and shared just how meaningful it was. "38 years ago today you came into my life and i know without a shred of doubt that God sent you!!!" Tina wrote. "I had recently lost my mom and never thought that i could feel that particular kind of love again but .7 months later i was pregnant with you (39 years ago people) The moment i saw you i knew that that was IT !!!! We've been the best of friends since then."
Tina went on to praise Bey as a daughter and mother of 7-year-old Blue Ivy [6] and 2-year-old twins Rumi and Sir [7], adding, "You have brought me such Joy and pride and love and friendship!!! Your heart is as big as Texas!! You are one of the best moms ever! And I love you soo much ❤️❤️❤️🎂🎂🎂❤️❤️Have the best birthday EVER!!!! Mom." The mother-daughter duo certainly have a close relationship [8], and something tells us Bey — who also celebrated her birthday with friends and family [9] at JAY-Z's Philadelphia Made in America music festival — feels just as thankful to have a supportive mom backing her up.
