Eva Longoria Calls Victoria Beckham the "Funniest Human Being" and the "Most Loyal Friend"
When it comes to celebrity friendships, few have stood the test of time like Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria. The pair have shared countless photos over the years and have regularly spoken of their love for each other. Most recently, the "Desperate Housewives" actor appeared on ITV's "Lorraine" to promote her directorial debut, the film "Flamin' Hot", and declared Beckham the most loyal friend.
"It wasn't until they moved to Los Angeles, when David started playing for LA Galaxy, that I did start to go to a lot of those games with Victoria. We were inseparable. I mean, she's the funniest human being — the loveliest, kindest, most loyal friend you could ever ask for," she said on 6 June. And it seems like Longoria is just like the rest of us when it comes for hopes of a Spice Girls reunion. "I am secretly the fifth, Spicy Spice. So nobody's called me!" she joked.
The ladies first met through David Beckham and Eva's former husband, Tony Parker, back in 2007 when they lived in LA. Since then, they've been "inseparable". So much so that Beckham was one of the official witnesses at Eva's 2016 wedding to José Antonio Bastón, for which Longoria wore three Victoria Beckham dresses. Longoria is also godmother to the Beckham's daughter, Harper..
"We are peas in a pod," Longoria added in a separate interview with The Times on 3 June. "I think she's an introvert but she's an extrovert with me. We are inseparable." The friends "have sleepovers all the time" and she even said that David and Victoria are "the best parents you will ever witness".
