Video of Prince Harry Talking About Bumping into the Queen

Prince Harry Jokingly Admits He "Panics" When He Bumps Into the Queen at Buckingham Palace

Bumping into Queen Elizabeth II during any occasion would cause a frenzy for anyone, even her own family, according to Prince Harry.

In a short clip from the upcoming ITV documentary Queen of the World, Prince Harry is seen chatting and joking to a group of Caribbean scholars at Buckingham Palace. As he greets them he asks if they've got nice rooms and jokes "you're not all bunked in one room together?", to which one of the trainees replies "parties every night". He then says "you guys will spend way more time in Buckingham Palace than I ever have, and you've only been here for two weeks." He asked if they've met the queen, and jokes, "If you suddenly bump into her in the corridor, don't panic. I know you will. We all do." Although we're sure Harry doesn't really panic every time he sees his grandma, they certainly don't have a typical grandson/grandmother relationship. In fact, Prince Harry says he sees the queen more as his "boss" than his grandmother.

The clip was shared by the royal family Instagram account, and the post itself explains that "over 6 weeks, eight scholars from across the Caribbean joined the Master of the Household's Department at the Palace and Windsor Castle to help with the delivery of several Royal events. The scholarship aims to develop individuals' skills through practical experience as well as build relationships around the Commonwealth." We can't wait to see what other gems and snippets of royal life we get in Queen of the World documentary when it airs on Sept. 25 on ITV.
