We've been through the emotional wringer since Monday's season premiere of The Walking Dead. The carnage was insane, even more than we predicted after all Summer waiting to find out who Negan kills. As we see in the episode, the new big bad selects Abraham and Glenn as his unlucky victims, but was that always the plan? YouTube user nessDK uploaded a mystery clip of what can only be interpreted as Negan beating the living hell out of — wait for it — Maggie. Clearly, this doesn't happen in the episode we saw, so could it be an alternate scene? If you remember, Rick flashes to different members of his group getting hit over the head during the premiere, but not to the extent that Maggie is in this video. Hell, she spits at Negan!
Interview published a Q&A with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays Negan, on Monday, and he said some pretty eyebrow-raising things. "Look, that whole episode was hard, and also because I did go through and smack everybody with Lucille at a certain point. Everybody took a hit." He could easily be referring to the whacks he had to give people for Rick's imagination sequences, but could they have shot the premiere with several different victims? If so, how did they land on Glenn and Abraham?
