Michael Douglas talked to David Letterman about being diagnosed with throat cancer and the treatment he's undergoing on US TV last night. He says he's finished his first week of an eight week regimen of chemo and radiation, and also told David he went through a litany of doctors who didn't catch it. The disease is at stage four. David told him he didn't sound like he had throat cancer, and Michael said it's because "I'm on stage". He also stated there's an 80% chance of full recovery, and that with certain hospitals that percentage goes up — he certainly sounded positive and we wish him the very best in his treatment and recovery.
