JAY-Z may have "99 problems," but his bank account certainly isn't one! According to Forbes, the 49-year-old music mogul just became the first hip-hop artist to ever become a billionaire. In addition to his music ventures, JAY-Z has amassed his fortune through investments in companies like Uber. "To calculate his net worth, we looked at the artist's stakes in companies like Armand de Brignac champagne — applying our customary discount to private firms — then added up his income, subtracting a healthy amount to account for a superstar lifestyle," Forbes stated. "We checked our numbers with a roster of outside experts to ensure these estimates were fair and conservative."

JAY-Z's impressive portfolio includes $220 million in cash and investments, $100 million for Tidal, $100 million for his D'Ussé cognac, and $75 million for Roc Nation. And that's just the tip of the iceberg! Let's also not forget that Beyoncé is one of the richest self-made women with a net worth of $355 million, so together, JAY-Z and Beyoncé really could run the world.
