Love is in the air for Emilia Clarke! The Mother of Dragons is dating 35-year-old director Charlie McDowell. On Wednesday, the couple basically confirmed their romance when the Game of Thrones actress posted a snap of her shadow cuddling up to someone on the beach. "Well that was a birthday I won't be forgetting in a while. ❤️," Emilia captioned the shot. Shortly after, Charlie — who is the son of actress Mary Steenburgen and Malcolm McDowell — posted the same picture on his account, writing, "Happy birthday, E. ❤️" Emilia marked her 32nd birthday on Oct. 23.
Even though she usually keeps her love life private, the actress previously dated Seth MacFarlane, James Franco, and Australian actor Jai Courtney. Charlie, on the other hand, dated Rooney Mara for six years before calling it quits in 2016.
