Emma Watson [1] has had a very under-the-radar dating history, but the 27-year-old actress's relationship status is now making headlines after news broke that she is dating Chord Overstreet [2]. The two were last spotted exiting Vanity Fair's Oscars party [3] and, following the unexpected appearance, a source confirmed to Page Six that the two are indeed dating. "It's crazy but, yes, they are seeing each other, although Emma wants to keep things quiet and private," the source said.

Chord is actually one of the few fellow actors Emma has dated. (She most recently dated tech entrepreneur William Knight [4].) After modelling as a teenager, Chord booked a few small parts before landing the role of Sam Evans in Glee. The 29-year-old was introduced as a series regular in the second season and was a guest star in subsequent seasons.

Glee executive producer Brad Falchuk said Chord was asked to continue as a series regular [5]; however, he wanted to focus on his musical aspirations — which he since has. In 2015, Chord was signed to Nick Jonas [6] and Demi Lovato [7]'s Safehouse Records. The following year, he opened for them on several dates in their Future Now Tour.

Chord released his first EP, Tree House Tapes, in 2017 and his single "Homeland" ended up appearing on The Vampire Diaries finale [8]. "It was cool because it was the first time something I had written, or had been creative on, reached so many people on a different level," Chord told POPSUGAR.
