Following Meghan Markle's ultraglam date night with Prince Harry on Wednesday, the Duchess of Sussex stepped out for a casual lunch date in London's Notting Hill neighbourhood with another very handsome man a day later. As it turns out, the man in question is none other than the former Brexit speechwriter for David Davis and Meghan and Harry's new deputy communications secretary, Christian Jones. During their lunch, Christian was reportedly seen taking notes while talking to Meghan.
The Cardiff University graduate was hired by Kensington Palace this past December and also manages communications for Prince William and Kate Middleton. Christian now joins Meghan's assistant private secretary, Amy Pickerill, and replaces Harry and Meghan's former press secretary, Samantha Cohen. Christian is in charge of liaising with UK and international media and supporting the royals' charity work and engagements.
Christian previously worked at the HM Treasury for nearly five years and was also the head of news and press secretary at the Department For Exiting the European Union. Given his impressive background, it's easy to see why he was hired for the job. Not to mention, he's also easy on the eyes.
