After the 26-year-old singer was spotted hanging out with Social House's Mikey Foster on multiple occasions, her brother Frankie confirmed the rumors [2] to Us Weekly on Wednesday. "I love Mikey," he said. "I think he's a really sweet guy." This is Ariana's first relationship since her split with Pete Davidson [3] in 2018.
Best known as one half of the musical duo Social House, Mikey has quietly built quite the résumé in the years since he's been on the music scene. Although the 32-year-old is not an A-lister himself, Mikey has worked with plenty of them, including Jennifer Lopez [4], Meghan Trainor, and Ariana herself [5], with whom Social House worked on her recent single, "Boyfriend." He's a Successful Musician
Mikey is one half of the band Social House. Michael "Mikey" Foster and Charles "Scootie" Anderson founded the musical duo in 2015, and started out by writing and producing songs for established artists. In time, they began releasing their own music, including a collaboration with Ariana, "Boyfriend."
He's Released Some Music of His Own
Although many of his Social House credits are writing for other artists, Mikey and Scootie have released some music of their own. In 2018, they released their debut single, "Magic in the Hamptons," which featured the rapper Lil Yachty.
He and His Writing Partner Work Together Like Magic
In an interview with Wild 94.1's The Nuthouse in 2018, Foster explained how he and Scootie just fell into working with each other [8], even though that hadn't been a specific intention when they both began working with the same collective of musicians.
"The chemistry was good, our songs came out pretty well, and people started wanting some music from us," he said, citing that creative connection and fan support as reasons why they branched out into making music of their own, rather than just continuing to write for bigger names.

During his career as a writer and producer, he worked with such A-listers as Meghan Trainor, Jennifer Lopez [9], Chris Brown [10], Steve Malcolm, and NCT 127. He's Originally From Pittsburgh
Mikey and his Social House partner Scootie originally came to Los Angeles after growing up in Pittsburgh. According to a Billboard interview in 2015, they barely knew each other at the time [12], but both moved in with a musician collective and began working together, with the shared goal of "understanding more about music."
